Donating

Is it safe to donate on this website?

Yes. Payments are handled by Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator, over an encrypted connection. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to Razorpay. We never see or store them.

Which payment methods can I use?

UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and popular wallets. Everything available is shown when the secure payment window opens.

Can I choose which programme my donation supports?

Yes. On the donate page, pick a programme under "Where should it go?". If you choose the general fund, we use it wherever the need is greatest.

Can I give every month?

Online monthly giving isn't available yet. If you'd like to give regularly, write to info@zorofoundation.in and we'll set it up with you.

Can I donate from outside India?

Not at the moment. Indian law (FCRA) only allows us to accept donations from Indian citizens using Indian accounts until we hold an FCRA registration.

Receipts & tax

Will I get a receipt?

Razorpay emails you a payment confirmation straight after you donate. Keep it for your records. It includes your payment ID, which you can quote if you ever need to contact us.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Not yet. Our 80G approval is not in place, so donations can't be claimed as a tax deduction for now. We'll update this page as soon as that changes.

I didn't get a confirmation email. What should I do?

Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it isn't there, email info@zorofoundation.in with your name, the amount and roughly when you paid, and we'll look it up.

Refunds & problems

I donated the wrong amount. Can I get a refund?

Yes, if you tell us within 7 days. See our refund & cancellation policy for details.

Money left my account but the payment failed. What happens?

If a payment fails after money is debited, it's usually reversed to your account automatically by your bank or Razorpay within 5–7 working days. If it isn't, email us with the date and amount and we'll chase it for you.

About us

How is my donation used?

All of it goes to programme costs: kits, groceries, bills paid for families. Nobody at Zoro Foundation is paid, and volunteers cover their own travel. The only deduction is Razorpay's payment-processing fee of about 2%, which is shown on our public ledger along with everything raised and spent.

Is Zoro Foundation a registered organisation?

No. Zoro Foundation is an unregistered, volunteer-run initiative, not a registered trust, society or Section 8 company. Donations are gifts received through Razorpay into the coordinating volunteer's account and used only for the programmes on this site. Full details are on the About page. We plan to register formally once our work and volume justify it.

Can I volunteer?

We'd love that. Email info@zorofoundation.in with a little about yourself, where you're based and how you'd like to help.

Can my company give through CSR?

Not yet. We hold no CSR-1 registration, so we can't accept CSR funds. Employees can give individually and we'll tally it as a group drive. See giving as a group.
